The first ever systematic review of evidence on the effectiveness of gender-transformative interventions that engage men and boys has been published in BMJ Global Health. The review, undertaken by the UNDP/UNFPA/UNICEF/WHO/World Bank Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction (HRP) and Queen’s University Belfast, presents what is known about interventions that engage men and boys, what works and what is the quality of the evidence.

“Life without love” is an emotional journey in search of love, wherever it is in daylight or in darkness. The paintings talk about violence, loneliness, lust, limitations and  hope in human relationships.
Working as a counsellor and listening to the pain and disappointments of people has fueled his creativity.

A Call to Action to People Living with HIV

We are people living with HIV.
Over three decades into this epidemic, we are angry that still 4500 of us are dying of AIDS related illnesses every day. Sixteen years after developing effective treatment, more than half of all of us who need it cannot access these life-saving drugs. The progress that has been made in treatment access is under threat.

“Young females who use drugs in Nepal calls on global leaders to reaffirm their commitment on HIV and AIDS”

16th March 2011
Twenty young females who inject drug’s [aged 15-29 years] from Kathmandu valley gathered for 3 days of leadership and advocacy training in Hotel Pension Vasna, Dilli bazaar, Kathmandu on 13th – 15th March 2011.
During the training, the young female participants discussed and reached a consensus about their needs, challenges, gaps and recommendation for a way forward.
